Urolithiasis, UTI, Burning micturition, prevents recurrence in Post-operative & lithotripsy cases.
In urolithiasis: 2 capsules B.I.D for 45 days.
In burning micturition: 2 capsules B.I.D for 4 days to 1 week
In UTI: 2 capsules B.I.D for 15 days.
Post lithotripsy surgery to prevent recurrence: 1 capsule BID for 6 months. Or as directed by physician.
• Pashanbheda & Kulatha act as antiurolithiatics
• Yavakhara acts as a urine alkalizer
Dolichos biflorus:
An age-old herb well known for its beneficial properties in kidney and urinary tract ailments. It possesses lithotriptic property by which it expels the calculi effectively.
D. biflorus provides significant protective action against hyperuricemic and nephrotoxicity, significantly increases dissolution of urinary stones, shows antilithiatic and anticalcification activities.
• It has been described as Ashmarighana (Destroyer of stone) in Charak samhita, Sushruta samhita and other ancient ayurvedic texts. Sushruta mentions its efficacy in vataj ashmari with the characteristics of oxalate stone. Clinical investigations on patients of urinary calculi show that patients passed their stones within 8-10 days of treatment with D. biflorus. Spontaneous passage of stones was common depending upon the size, site and mobility of the calculus.

Emblica officinalis:
Being a rich source of vitamin – c improves repair of damaged tissues, especially helpful in healing damages urinary mucosa after expulsion of renal calculi.
Decreases oxidative stress in patients of chronic kidney disease. By its anti-inflammatory activity soothes the urinary mucosa.

Bergenia ciliata:
Pashanabheda exhibits anti-urolithiatic action mediated through calcium oxalate crystal inhibition, diuretic, hypermagneseuric and antioxidant effects.
The plant inhibits to maximum extent the crystal growth of calcium oxalate monohydrate, a mineral in most kidney stones.
Pashanabheda effectively inhibits nucleation and aggregation of calcium oxalate crystals.

Crataeva nurvala:
C.nurvala decreases lipid peroxidation and concentration of blood urea, nitrogen and creatinine. C.nurvala reduces crystal deposition leading to minimized tubular damage in the kidneys.

Hordeum vulgare:
Hordeum vulgare is an excellent Anti-urolithiatic, and the alkali prepared out of the plant is extremely alkaline in nature with pH value of 11.73. This acts as a urine alkalizer which inhibits growth of pathogenic agents in urinary tract and also increases the solubility of crystals in the urinary system, especially cystine stones.
• Alkaline urine can prevent the precipitation of cystine calculi and even aid in dissolution.
• Urine pH is an important factor in the production of kidney stones. Uric acid, cystine, and calcium oxalate stones tend to form in acidic urine
